About The Collection
Stetson's story began in the 1860s when John B. Stetson was prospecting for gold in the Colorado Rockies. He was struck by a sudden rainstorm and quickly fashioned a felt hat for protection. Thus, the modern cowboy hat was born. More than a century and a half later, Stetson is still honoring John B.'s pioneering legacy and commitment to quality.
